Course Description
Your child’s imagination will find a destination through clay, paper mâché, paint, pastels and more for a magical week of merriment! We may create dueling dragons, medieval wizards, unusual unicorns or paupers, and princesses. From Fairies to Mythical Beasts each lesson will be as unique as your child’s own creative energy. All New Lessons – Materials Included!
Now ONLINE with daily Zoom check-ins and demos. No one wants to be in front of a computer screen for hours! It’s not good for us, but making art is!! We have switched it up a bit to meet for an hour each morning, sign up for one-to-one conferences with the instructor, check out her personal videos if needed, and share on our own SeeSaw link. Parent supervision may be needed during our morning 10:00 am Zoom calls. Access to recording will be available to view later.
All art materials will arrive by the previous Friday at your doorstep or may be picked up at the ArtHaus studio in Midlothian (whichever you prefer). Each box will include your own set of tempera paints, watercolors, brushes, colored pencils, clay, and more! We can deliver within a 20 mile radius of St. M! Our Art-In-A-Box will feel like Christmas in July & is included in the camp cost! Recycled parts & cardboard, as well as materials from nature, may be best collected from home. All others will be included in the total cost of camp.
Clay pieces will be picked up from your home on Tuesdays so they can be fired and returned on Friday.
Our amazing art will be available to view by the following Monday through an online art show sent to your inbox!
