Course Description
​Where jaguars and tapirs roam there’s sure to be a wild ruckus sparking our young artists’ imaginations! The rainforest will be our guide as we explore and learn from the artists who were inspired by its beauty & inhabitants. Henri Rousseau’s paintings will come to life in this week filled with paint, clay, sculptures, and more! Papier-mâché rain sticks and Venus fly traps are sure to be a big hit in a week not to miss! Join the adventure and let the wild romp us begin! All new lessons! All materials are provided.

 Meet Your Teacher 
Meg Foster
After receiving her BFA in Art Education from VCU, Meg taught in Chesterfield County Public Schools for over 13 years. With a passion for teaching art to young children, she was recognized by her fellow teachers in 1996 and was awarded Teacher of the Year at Harrowgate Elementary in Chester, VA. Before taking time off to stay home with her two young children, she was the art teacher at Robious Elementary for 7 years. Meg is currently the Lower School Art teacher at Saint Christopher's Lower School in Richmond, VA.
