Course Description
Our imaginations will take flight as our creative destinations will include clay, papier-mâché, paint, and
more! Seahorses, jellyfish, and coral reefs are just a few of the beautiful encounters that will inspire our
paintings and sculptures. We are sure to come across magical creatures as we take flight into a week
filled with all that flies and swims. Maybe batik bats, or flying superheroes and fairies will be what
catches your child’s whimsical creative spirit. We can’t wait for a week to spread our wings and dive
deep into our artistic visions where only the Sky’s The Limit! All New Lessons! All materials are provided.

Meet your Teacher
After receiving her BFA in Art Education from VCU, Meg taught in Chesterfield County Public Schools for over 13 years. With a passion for teaching art to young children, she was recognized by her fellow teachers in 1996 and was awarded Teacher of the Year at Harrowgate Elementary in Chester, VA. Before taking time off to stay home with her two young children, Meg was the art teacher at Robious Elementary for 7 years. As a way to return to her passion of teaching, she started with after school art classes; "Arthaus Kids," in the fall of 2008. The dream of ArtHaus Visual Arts Studio came together when the new studio opened in September 2010. In addition to being the owner of ArtHaus, Meg is also the Lower School Art Teacher at St. Christopher's School in Richmond, VA. |
