Course Description
Learning to sew is a fun and valuable skill. Tiffany Ray will share her experience with your young artist to help them build a love for sewing. We will learn some of the following basics: machine threading, bobbin winding, hand sewing, straight stitch & zigzag stitch, sewing on a button, and more all while completing small projects. This class is perfect for new sewers as well as more experienced sewers. A materials fee of $13.00 is included in the registration fee for fabrics, thread, and supplies. ALL NEW LESSONS

Meet your Teacher
Tiffany Ray
Tiffany received her bachelors and masters in teaching from Longwood University. Tiffany was a classroom teacher for many years before becoming a library media specialist in Powhatan County Public Schools. She loves all of the fiber arts. Having learned to crochet as a child, she now knits, quilts and sews in a variety of styles. Her passion is creating unique quilts, bags and "softies". We are thrilled to have a fiber artist of her caliber with us at ArtHaus!
