Course Description
Do you love playing in the mud? Make “mess” into a masterpiece by joining us for an 8-week-long pottery course to master your pottery skills. Learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing. Create handmade functional pottery, experiment with various glazes, and learn about safety in the ceramics studio. Students will leave class with finished pieces to share with family and friends. Be ready to get messy! This course includes a $40 materials fee. Materials include one 25 lb bag of high-fire clay, firing fees, and use of glazes, and tools.
The use of tools, glazes, and the 1st bag of clay are included in the cost of the class ($40 materials fee). Just bring your imagination (and some shoes & clothes you don’t mind getting muddy)!
Cancellations must be received 10 days prior to the start of class. No refunds or credits will be extended after that date.
