Course Description
Students will work together on a collaborative project to learn basic handbuilding techniques: pinch, coil, slab. With directed projects students will become more familiar with clay properties. With technical assistance, students will then explore their own projects. Clay construction as well surface design and decoration will be explored. All materials, one 25lb bag of clay, glazes and firings are included.
Additional clay may be purchased for $40.

Meet your Teacher
Diana Cole Diana Cole received her BFA in Painting and Printmaking as well as Art Education from VCU and has been a working artist for over 35 years. She was a founding member of the 43rd Street Gallery and Pottery Studio in 1985. Since that time, she has been an instructor and Studio Potter teaching all over Richmond and showing in galleries throughout Virginia. |
